Michel Robidoux

President

Michel Robidoux, President

Michel Robidoux has been President of Sandoz Canada since April 2010. He joined the company in 2008 as Vice-President, Sales and then as Vice-President, Sales and Marketing. Michel has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare fields relating to hospital, retail and health care professionals for the diabetes market, medical and laboratory equipment as well as life science products.

Mr. Robidoux began his career as a Sales Representative, moved on to Key Account Management and then as Product Manager for Bayer, from which, he occupied a number of key positions at Roche Diagnostics. While at Roche Diagnostics, he took on the roles of Sales Director, of Marketing Director and Head of the Diabetes Care Division all culminating in that of Vice-President of Laboratory, Hospital and Research Systems which he held for over 5 years.

Mr. Robidoux holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Université du Québec à Montréal.

Len Arsenault

Vice-President, Scientific Affairs

Len Arsenault has over 20 years of regulatory affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including more than 11 years with the Therapeutic Products Directorate, spent mostly within the Bureau of Pharmaceutical Quality where he was manager of the Oral Products Division at the time of his departure. He continued on to Rhoxal Pharma to hold executive positions of Director of Regulatory Affairs and Reseach, followed by Vice-President Regulatory Affairs and Development. Len Arsenault joined Sandoz Canada in 2005 as Vice-President of Scientific Affairs, where he is responsible for the Regulatory Competency Center, Medical Information and Pharmacovigilance, and Intellectual Property groups. He is also Vice Chair of the Canadian Generic Pharmaceutical Association Scientific Affairs committee and sits on the CGPA Intellectual Property Committee.

Mr. Arsenault holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Concordia University.

Jacques Bergeron

Vice-President, Government and Trade Relations

Jacques Bergeron is Vice-President, Trade and Government Relations. He joined Sandoz (previously Sabex) in 1990 as Sales Director, Retail Division, before going on to fill the position of Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, from 1996 to 2008.

Before joining Sandoz, he acquired a number of years of experience in different areas of the pharmaceutical industry, including with Frank W. Horner, a division of Carter‑Wallace Inc., where he held various positions in sales and marketing.

Mr. Bergeron holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the Université du Québec à Montréal and a Master of Business Administration degree from McGill University.

Alain Carrier

Vice-President, Development Center

Alain Carrier, Vice-President of the Development Center since 2010 joined Sandoz in 2004 as Director, Research & Development.  His responsibilities include the different phases of development for injectable and ophthalmic projects, from the initial pre-formulation phase to production of the commercial product.  He is in charge of the pharmaceutical development, analytical services, regulatory services as well as the project management teams.  He has more than 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having held management functions in different companies.

Mr. Carrier holds a Bachelor’s degree as well as a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Montreal.

Christian Danis

Vice-President, Legal Affairs

Christian Danis is Vice-President, Legal Affairs, and joined Sandoz (previously Sabex) in 2004 as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. He now heads a team of lawyers and paralegal working in various areas of activity, including negotiation support for company trade agreements and litigation management and prevention.

Mr. Danis holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the Université de Montréal and is a member of the Québec Bar. He also has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Sciences from Concordia University.

 

Martin Fournier

Vice-President, Finance and MIS

Martin Fournier has been Vice-President, Finance and MIS since 2009. He joined Sandoz in 2006 as Director, Information and Financial Accounting. He has over 17 years of diverse project management experience in the field of accounting and finance, mainly within businesses in the manufacturing sector.  Before joining Sandoz, he held various positions in accounting firms at the auditing and consulting levels, most recently at Deloitte as Senior Director, Management and Technology Consulting.

Mr. Fournier holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, B.B.A., from Hautes Études Commerciales Montréal. He is also a member of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec.

Serge Maltais

Vice-President, Supply Chain

Serge Maltais is Vice-President, Supply Chain, and joined Sandoz (previously Sabex) in 2002. He is responsible for customer service, purchasing and distribution. Prior to joining Sandoz, he spent 17 years at Baxter International in Canada, where he held executive positions in logistics and manufacturing.

Mr. Maltais holds a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from the École Polytechnique de Montréal and a diploma in Business Administration from the Université de Sherbrooke.

 

Gordon Meyer

Vice-President, Hospital Business

Gordon Meyer, Vice-President, Hospital Business, joined Sandoz (previously Sabex) in 1997. With a background in teaching and professional photography, he has spent the last 28 years in the healthcare industry, where he has served in management positions at Baxter International and C.R. Bard Inc.

Mr. Meyer has a teaching diploma from McGill University and a BA with a major in Geography from Bishop's University.


Marc St-Pierre

Vice-President, Human Resources

Marc St-Pierre holds the position of Vice-president, Human Resources, at Sandoz Canada inc.  He joined the company in 1997 and, as business partner, his main responsibilities cover the areas of human resources management, internal communications and facility management.  With close to 25 years’experience in the field of human resources management, he has previously hold several management positions in international companies, more specifically in the publishing / direct mail business as well as in the telecommunications industry.

Mr. St-Pierre has a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations from the Université du Québec en Outaouais and is a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines (CHRP).

Marc Beaudoin

Vice-President, Strategy and Business Development

Marc Beaudoin has been Vice-President, Strategy and Business Development since January 2012. He joined Sandoz in 2006 as Senior Advisor, Business Strategies before being promoted to Executive Director, Marketing and Business Intelligence in 2010 and Vice-President, Marketing and Communications in 2011. He is responsible for business strategy, portfolio and pipeline management, business development and communications. He has over 20 years of experience in diverse management positions. Prior to joining Sandoz, he was President of Emergence Consulting, a management consulting firm he co-founded

Mr. Beaudoin holds a Fellowship in Operations Management (CFPIM), a Certificate of Integrated Resources Management (CIRM) and is a Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).

Jacquelin Gagnon

Vice-President, Retail Division

Jacquelin Gagnon is Vice-President, Retail Division. He joined Sandoz in 2006 as Director, Business Development. He has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Sandoz, he worked for Hoechst Marion Roussel, Wyeth Ayerst and, most recently, ratiopharm inc., an international pharmaceutical company where he held a number of positions in business development, project management and supply chain.

Mr. Gagnon holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Université de Montréal's École des Hautes Études Commerciales.

Robert Wilson

Executive Director, Hospital Division

Robert Wilson is Executive Director, Hospital Division and has joined Sandoz in 2009. He has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry. He worked for Eli Lilly, Leo Pharma and Roche Diagnostics. Throughout his career, he is one of the few managers who has worked and lead teams in all three (3) Canadian regions. Furthermore, he brings excellent training, marketing and sales experience to his role.

Mr. Wilson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from McGill University and a MBA from Leicester University in England.
